-sigh- low quality phone camera + bad lighting = blurry picture. I’ve been playing with the concept of the eternal struggle of dealing with one’s inner self— inner power, for a while now. I chose to use a Charizard to represent the parts of us that seem to mature faster than we can keep up with, and the concept of an endless cycle, which in this case, is Ouroboros or the tail-eating snake from mythology. As a whole, it represents the fact that our greatest struggles and greatest strengths come from within, but it is a never-ending battle to control and to deal with one’s own “dragon”. That, and Charizard is fucken bad-ass. It’s been too long since last I drew. (Taken with Instagram)
